Wait…What? I Thought Lucifer…

Dean Makes a Funny Face
So because last week the previews for Supernatural said, “SOON,” I figured we weren’t going to get any new episodes for a bit. But when I tuned in to watch a rerun, I was pleasantly surprised to see a new episode.
There’s not much to say about this one on my end. But I will say this:
I am getting a bit tired of keeping track of who the main “bad guy” is. First it was Azazel, then Lilith, then Lucifer, and now Jesse (The Anti-Christ). (Well, maybe not Jesse…yet.) It’s like they want us to focus on one person but then a few months later it’s like, “Nope! We thought THAT guy was going the end the world, but we really meant THIS guy.”
Sometimes I just say to myself, “Why can’t Lucifer just blow up the world by his own means?” I feel like this war is being drawn out a little too much, and because of that, it feels unbelievable. We know that Sam has to give Lucifer permission to take over his body, but holy geez. I just feel like there’s no purpose for this Jesse character. I don’t know if I wasn’t paying attention or what, but what is he even supposed to do? Wasn’t Lucifer supposed to end the world? What does Jesse have to do with it if Lucifer is already supposed to bring the apocalypse? I’m so frustrated, lol.
I’ll also say this:
How cute was it when Castiel was turned into a little toy figurine?
Oh and…
Wouldn’t you figure the boys would have seen Jesse’s surf posters on the wall and assumed he “teleported” himself to Australia?
Test
Hee, so this gave you some confusion huh? Yeah, I have to agree that I don’t know why they brought Jesse in, unless it is because he can sway the fight our boys way. He just may take the time to think about it while he hangs ten and then pop back in when Sam and Dean need him most.
I actually think it might have been cool if he was the devil’s son and yet he sided with our boys. Alas, they did not go there.
As to why the boys didn’t get that he used his posters as a guide, I dunno, but would it have mattered if they knew where he was? Not like they’d take off to Australia to go after him. Best to let him have his alone time and show up if he wants to. hehe
Don’t you know, the end of the world is highly overrated. If Lucifer could just blow up the world to pieces there wouldn’t be a story to be told, and just like WhiteSammy said, Lucifer doesn’t want to destroy the earth. He actually thrives on the murder and mayhem.
And I forgot I was expecting for a rerun too.
